Got a paycheck advance through Current?

You may be entitled to up to $400 or more, depending on your state of residence.

  • You may qualify for this claim if you received a paycheck advance using Current.
  • Current users who value their consumer rights should sign up.
  • All claims are backed by Labaton Keller Sucharow, a national law firm that has recouped over $30 Billion for people like you.

Current is a mobile app that provides short-term cash advances. To use the service, consumers link their bank accounts and subscribe to Current. Through this subscription, users can request a paycheck advance of up to $750.

These advances are automatically repaid from the user’s bank account, unless the consumer chooses to repay earlier by selecting a different date. Current also charges extra fees if consumers want to receive their advances more quickly.

Although Current markets these transactions as simple advances on a paycheck, this claim alleges that they actually function as a type of “earned wage access” loan. The claim further alleges that Current failed to give consumers the proper disclosures about the real costs of these advances, as required by law.

Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP and Berger Montague P.C. are representing clients in individual consumer arbitration claims against Current. If you have a Current account and have received a paycheck advance, you may qualify for a claim under federal and state laws depending on your state of residence.
