Progressive Leasing is a large “buy-now-pay-later” and “lease-to-own” company that partners with large retailers to offer consumers flexible financing on purchases. You may have applied for or received a Progressive Leasing lease through its partnerships with retailers like Best Buy, Samsung, Cricket, Lowe's, Zales, Overstock, Dell and more. In September 2023, Progressive Leasing suffered a massive breach of its’ customer data base. The data base, which contained information on 40 million people including social security numbers, was taken by an unauthorized actor. If you are a Progressive Leasing applicant or have used their products in the past, your information may have been taken in the Progressive leasing data breach.

Labaton is pursuing private arbitration claims against Progressive Leasing customers and applicants. Successful claims could be entitled to compensation of up to $750 under California privacy laws, or similar amounts in other states.
