Yahoo is an American web services company. Establishing itself with search engine and email offerings, Yahoo also runs news media, weather information, fantasy football, and financial and sports news websites. These offerings include news.yahoo.com, finance.yahoo.com, and sports.yahoo.com.

We believe Yahoo may have installed tracking software on its websites, including news.yahoo.com, finance.yahoo.com, and sports.yahoo.com, that secretly collects user information. This data may include your IP address, information entered into online forms, articles read, videos watched, and details about how you interact with these websites. We suspect that third-party companies, such as Google and Facebook, are involved in developing this software, which creates unique user profiles. These profiles can be used for tracking users across websites and targeting them with advertisements.

We are representing clients in individual arbitration claims against Yahoo on behalf of users who visited Yahoo websites, including www.yahoo.com, news.yahoo.com, finance.yahoo.com, and sports.yahoo.com, and may have been tracked by third-party software without their consent. If you have a Yahoo account and visited these websites within the past year, you may be eligible for a claim under California state law, which provides statutory damages of up to $5,000 per violation.

TOPICS
  • General FAQ
Is arbitration confidential?
Yes, arbitration is a confidential, private process.
Once I sign up, how does the process work?
Once you sign up, you’ll be asked to sign our attorney-client agreement. That allows us to investigate your private arbitration claim. Then, log in to your secure client portal. All information is strictly privileged and confidential and will only be used for your claim. Answer a few more questions, upload a few documents, and we’ll take it from there. We’ll analyze your claim and your losses, negotiate with the company, and, if necessary, pursue your claim in arbitration.
How do your fees work?
Our fees will be a percentage of the settlement or recovery we obtain for you. That amount will depend on the rules in the state you live in. We only receive a fee if you win, and you will never owe us any money.
