Did Versant share your video viewing history without your consent?

You may be entitled to up to $2,500 under federal law.

  • You may qualify for this claim if you watched video content of the eligible Versant websites or apps.
  • Versant website or app video viewers who value their privacy should sign up.
  • All claims are backed by Labaton Keller Sucharow, a national law firm that has recouped over $30 Billion for people like you.

Versant Media Group, Inc. (“Versant”) operates a variety of video streaming websites and apps that were previously part of NBCUniversal. These platforms allow users to watch television shows and other video content online, often by logging in with an email address or through a TV provider.

Labaton is investigating claims that these websites may have tracked and shared users’ private video viewing activity along with personally identifiable information such as email addresses or location data, with third-parties without prosper consent. These third parties may use this data to build advertising profiles about individual users.

This conduct may violate the Federal Video Privacy Protection Act (“VPPA”), which prohibits the unauthorized disclosure of an individual’s video-viewing history and provides for statutory damages.
